Relaxing at home

Here's a pic of me relaxing around the house. I quite like exploring the garden outside but it can get a little bit scary so I'm just hanging around the back door til I get used to it. There's heaps of fun stuff to do out here tho. Like I've been practicing my climbing skills getting up trees. I'm pretty good at getting up but it's kinda tricky getting back down again.

Lookin good, Possum. That's a great garden you've got there. Not huge, but good for 'splorin. (Don't worry. I haven't been there, Kate's just told me about it.)

Oh you are so cute and we are so glad you've found your forever home.

You have very pretty flowers in your garden, but what are those black things hanging down from the rope?

Ta for the kind words, guys.

Mrs Phoebe, I think my mum and dad hang up those black things for me to play with... to be honest tho, they're not that much fun! I might tell mum and dad to stop going to all the effort of hanging all the different bits up every couple of days.

Btw, Mrs Phoebe are you a Lioness?!

Hey, have any of you guys been in your back garden at night time? It is SO much fun! I went out the other night when my mum's friend was leaving - it was awesome. Mum kept trying to coax me back in but I know her tricks now, I know she's not just gonna give me a pat and then let me play.

Gardens have the BEST smells at night, especially in summer, especially after rain.

Possum, I am not a lioness, but I think that I am RELATED to lions, for sure. I'm told that I am a Norwegian Forest Cat from the snowy wilds of Scandanavia. That is why I have such soft thick fur to keep me warm.

I have not been in the garden at night, though I have TRIED to get out there. Tracy worries about me wandering into busy traffic or getting eaten by a dog. We do get to go onto our screened porch which is almost outside, but not quite. We can smell the night time smells and sometimes some neighborhood cats come around to say hi.
