The Big Day

Yes, today is the day that Mum is going to ask the owner of the house if I can stay here, even though he has a No Pets policy.

Please say a little prayer for me!

Hey Possum... how'd it go? Are you official? Make the owner come and meet you and see how well both you and the house are being cared for! Sending some purrs your way...

Hey possum, i hope it all went well. My owners decided when they got me that if the rent receivers didnt want me they'd just finish their lease... but i think they were outside their contract so the protest may have been easier for them!!! hope it goes well will be watching out for teh news!

Hello everyone. Thanks for all your purrs and prayers.

I haven't posted for a while cos I thought I wouldn't be around anymore but as you are all so keen to know what happened...

Mum got a letter back from the owner saying he didn't want to interfere with how the agent lady managed the property (and he didn't want mum to write to him either!)

Mum wrote a letter and went and saw the agent lady explaining that the owner "didn't exactly say no" and asked if she would ask him for her.

The lady felt bad because mum was "obviously very attached" to me, so she went and asked the owner for mum.

There were a lot of complicating factors but basically, despite very poor odds, the owner has agreed to let me stay (with some conditions).

So, YAY! I'm officially adopted :)

I'll post again soon.

Hi Possum. I'm very glad to hear that you get to stay in your new home. My sister and I were also homeless as kittens and we found a home with our person. It's much better to be in a home than in one of those shelters where the mean well, but conditions are very crowded.

Yippee!! Great news. I'll get you signed up for pre-season training as soon as the draft is completed.
